BTW... saw Ric Flair on Raw last night. I have a ton of respect for Flair, but Jeebus... looked about like that Grandpa that was celebrating at Hooters a few weeks back. "When you wheel down that aisle.... WOOOO!!!"

Well you won't have to watch him much longer. A few months ago McMahon told Flair that the next match he loses will be his last match with WWE. Flair has been on a streak since then beating some of the top guys. You really have to suspend your reality to believe Flair's old ass beating a 25 yr old steroid freak.
He is going to be wrasslin the Heartbreak Kid at Wrestlemania. And that will probably be his last match. It will probably be entertaining. Shawn Michaels always entertains at PPVs, especially WM. A fitting way to end Flair's career, to go out basically on top.
Rasslin... now there's a sport.

I've been trying to get back into this after not watching rasslin' for some time.
Still... I ain't watching any PPVs. I wish they'd bring back the "Saturday Night's Main Event" things like they had "back in the day"!

Yeah I have a binary newsgroup service that allows me to download any/all shows, it's kind of like TIVO.. I don't usually catch them when they are on, but I sometimes watch them the next day when they find their way on the internet with all the commercials edited out. And the PPVs are always on there the day after too. That helps... because what's the point of watching if you can't watch the PPVs? I used to watch WCW back in the late 90's and it always tee'd me off that you couldn't see the PPVs. Anyways Gumby you're welcome to come over to my place and watch Wrestlemania the day after. I usually bet on PPV matches. Betting on fake sports is awesome... especially the day after. The rules are you can't look on the internet to see who won.

btw, they do have SNME still on NBC. It's only done maybe twice a year though. They put on basically a PPV caliber match card for those shows trying to draw in new fans. The last one had Evander Holyfield 'boxing' Matt Hardy. Holyfield beat his ass of course, and then turned on the heel rassler who put him up to it. So even though Holyfield beat up Hardy, a 'good guy', they both looked like good guys in the end.
You proabably saw at this year's Wrestlemania they are having Floyd Mayweather 'fight' The Big Show.
Does anyone remember when Mike Tyson was at WM? He was teamed up with Shawn Michaels against Steve Austin, but he turned on HBK and allowed Austin to win.
Talk about quality entertainment...lol

All wrestlers I remember well. I have a lot of catching up to do it seems. At least some of the old fart wrestlers still being around helps.

I like the old ones too. I always liked Gorilla Monsoon doing the commentary. McMahon was good at doing the play by play too. He was the owner of the whole thing pretending to be a lowly commentator.
My favorite Wrestlmania matches from the first 10 always involved the guys you mentioned plus Macho Man, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, and early Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart WM matches were good too.

I tried to go back and watch WWE, but after a few weeks I could pick the winners of every match before they even rang the bell. When that happens, it ceases to be entertaining
