While I have little doubt Mr. MX is not exactly a news hound or an advanced degree holder in any field of the social sciences, I can't help but think at least a little of that is a put-on. He has a very specific "Thuglife" marketing image to maintain, and waxing political is not going to help him to appear cool in the minds of those buying his music.
Which says as much for those folks as it does for Mr. MX.
