Man, D ick Gregory is off his flippin' rocker. According to him, Whitey is spraying black neighborhoods with manganese at night AND putting manganese in malt liquor.

Didn't watch the link...but isn't Dick Gregory a, you know, comedian?
Chris Rock said that if the Vice President was black, he would shoot the president.

Sadly, the black community eats this irrelevant "Blame whitey" shit up. Black/white relationships, or lack thereof, will always suck so long as the black community takes their talking points and guidance from idiots like Dick Gregory, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Maxine Waters, Louis Farrakhan, Mel Watt and all the other liberal race hustling, poverty pimps out there. IT WILL NEVER GET BETTER until the black community starts listening to and taking heed from black leaders like Bill Cosby, Larry Elder, La Shawn Barber, Star Parker, J.C. Watts, Walter Williams, Duane Brayboy, Kevin Martin, Lynn Swann, Jessie Lee Peterson and many others who stand on their own two feet, lead by strong example and ask nothing in return from the black community.

iammrhawkeyes and iowafan -- There is a lot of anger emanating from white people. If you don't realize the non-racially charged meaning of his speech and embrace the diversity and high level of discourse that is created by events like that one, I have no choice but to call you both racists. If you don't believe in set asides based on race, you are a racist. Sorry guys, that's just the way the world works.

It is equally absurd to claim that all of the problems in the black community are the fault of blacks as it is to say all of the problems of the black community are the fault of whites.
I am pretty sure both sides have fucked it up big time, and no one is doing anyone favors by blaming it on the other.

I am pretty sure both sides have fucked it up big time, and no one is doing anyone favors by blaming it on the other. The "moderate" approach ain't gonna help them either. As much as you may not want to hear it, what I wrote is the absolute, "no moderation BS", "sucks to be them" truth. The problems in the black community are OVERWHELMINGLY the fault of that very same black community. In the very famous words of Iowafan1, "You are who you hang with". They get zero sympathy whatsoever from me so long as they either maintain, whether actively or passively, their incoherent and unjustified racist views against the white population.

So the blame is all on the black community for their racist views, but not on the white communioty for any of their racist views?

Ghost hit the nail right on the head. Please read Black Rednecks, White Liberals by Thomas Sowell for an interpretation of how white elite liberals have caused immeasurable pain in the black community with good intentioned wealth transfer payments, public housing, etc. I'm glad me and everghost can find some common ground on occasion.

He's been on the manganese kick for years as a serious argument for black oppression. Instead of blaming the malt liquor producers though, he should take a closer look at his own product line's manganese content. Too frickin' funny. www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=5641Isolated Soy Protein, Soy Protein Concentrate, Tricalcium Phosphate, Lecithin, Natural Flavors, Potassium Chloride, L-methionine, Magnesium Oxide, Cellulose Powder, Primary Grown Yeast, Ascorbic Acid, Guar Gum, D-alpha Tocopherol Acetate, Pectin, Xanthan Gum, Ferrous Fumarate, Kelp Powder, Magnesium Aspartate, Potassium Aspartate, Carrageenan, Dolomite, Niacinamide, Zinc Oxide, Papain, Bromelain, Copper Gluconate, Wheat Germ, Manganese Sulfate, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Acerola, Alfalfa, Carob Powder, Catnip, Chia Seed Powder, Date Powder, Dulse, Pumpkin Seed Powder, Rice Bran, Sesame Seed Powder, Sunflower Seed Powder, Wheat Grass Powder, Vitamin A Palmitate, Beta Carotene, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin, Riboflavin, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Vitamin B3, Folic Acid, Biotin, Potassium Iodide, Chromium Chloride, Sodium Molybdate, Sodium Selenite, Phytonadione and Cyanocobalamin.

Again, not everything white people think about black people is true, and not everything that black people say about white people is false. Dealing in absolutes like this is so wrong. You are as bad as Wright, Gregory, and the rest of them. You don't seek reconciliation, because in your opinion, the only way to reconcile is to do exactly what I say.

Ruh Roh libs, a few days Mr. Obama called his grandmother racist. Now he is on record calling her a typical white person. The Democrats should have had this thing in the bag with the animosity toward W, but they have instead decided to find the most left leaning candidates they could. This begs the question, will the Dems once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
