The wrestling team has wrapped up their first NCAA championship since 2000. The kicker....... The tournament isn't even over yet. 5th/6th, 3rd/4th, and championship matches are still to be wrestled tomorrow. Iowa has 3 guys in the Finals Metcalf, Perry, and Slanton. Four other Hawkeyes will also be All-Americans Charlie Faulk, Jay Borschel, Phil Keddy and Matt Fields. They will wrestle twice each tomorrow. If they win their first they wrestle for 3rd/4th, and if they lose the wrestle for 5th/6th.

I watched all of the wrestling tourney, awesome performance by the Hawks! Metcalf and Perry both about wore me out tonight watching them. Congrat's to them, and to all of the wrestling Hawks! Now I can rest the finger that I blistered hitting the "Last" button on my remote bouncing back and forth to the BB games the last 2 days.

I got back from St. Louis last night and it was great. That was an awesome tournament. It is great to be in an environment where Iowa is hated and feared again.
Now, other than NASCAR, I have to wait until Opening Day to have some sports to follow since I really can't stand basketball if the Hawks are not playing.

He said after that it felt like it popped worse than it ever had before. I have heard nothing official.

After watching that happen, I thought there was no way in hell he would be able to continue. I was literally sick watching him screaming in pain on tv and thinking what a way to lose a National Title as a senior. It took some guts for him to come back and do what he did.
