BREAKING: New AC/DC Album/Tour Confirmed

Official title, release date, tour dates/locations not announced but confirmed this morning by none other than Brian Johnson himself in a radio interview in DC/Virginia.

Here is the recent timeline...

March 1st, 2008 AC/DC enter the studio to begin recording their new album! The long awaited follow up to the bands "Stiff Upper Lip" is now being recorded at an undisclosed studio location, with a tentative release of later this year.

April 16th, 2008 AC/DC have been recording their long awaited new album for approximately 5 weeks now, and have confirmed that they are working with producer Brendan O'Brien

The waiting is almost over! AC/DC fans can expect the band's next album of new material sometime later this year. The band are currently recording in Vancouver with producer Brendan O'Brien and long time audio engineer Mike Fraser. This will be the band's first collection of new material since the release of Stiff Upper Lip in 2000.

April 22nd, 2008 Brian Johnson was interviewed this morning on DC 101 FM (Washington DC/Virginia) and confirmed that the band is now finished recording their long awaited new album, and have left Vancouver. Angus & Malcolm remained in Vancouver to assist with the mixing of the new album with Mike Fraser and producer Brendan O'Brien.
