As an aside, I recently read an article that stated that the 2 characteristics women value most in a mate are money and height. True story. I thought it was length and girth.

I would have NO problem dating a chick if she was making 200k a year. I would love the opportunity to do something I really enjoy.
Of course that depends on where you live also. 200k goes a lot farther in small town Iowa than it does in Chicago. In Chicago with 200k you have a 2 bedroom apt' with a nice bank account and nice 100$ meals once a week. In small town Iowa you have a 500K house, a lexus, and a nice trip to the Bahamas every year.
As far as the men being more visually stimulating than the women they actually found out that is not true. They think the opposite might be true.

Even in Iowa, that 200k ain't gonna go that far. Yeah, you could leverage yourself way up and make it look like you're rich with that salary, but you'd be pissing a lot of money away in interest. After your old lady maxed out her 401k and paid the taxman, her insurance, mortgage, car payment and trips out of the shitty town in which you lived, she wouldn't be socking that much away and if you knocked her up and she wanted to quit her job, you'd be in a gutter somewhere, but you would have some nice memories of you big house. It's riskier than it sounds.

[ F*** no. I'll make my own money, thank you very much. Yep. A big bank account wouldn't help me get it up with one of the uglies.

Whoa, if Hilldog busted up with Bill and was packing $50 mil in cash and cash equivalents, you wouldn't be able to get it up? I'm not saying I'd enjoy it, but I would work like hell to keep Mama Rodham happy.

My brain might want to for living the good life but the other brain just wouldn't function, especially if it was Ham Hocks. Nothin' I can do about it.

I went on a trip with a rich woman who took me to see a Cubs Cardinals series. We stayed in the same room and she was a 6 or 7. Anyway, no money doesn't really help. I couldn't do the deed. Not going to pimp my services. I guess I didn't get drunk enough

Yes. BTR is a shining example. Damn, you beat me to it. Actually, in all seriousness, money might help some guys out, but not me. She has to be attractive to me, and money doesn't matter at all, because I make my own money. Money makes zero difference. Now, if she is beautiful already and happens to make 200k, then that's just fine and dandy! Looks come WAAAAAY before money for me, but a great heart is first over all.

Well...you heard it hear first.
I married a 7 about 20 years ago.
I'm about to have a 160 pound weight loss...if you catch my drift.
The biggest and I mean biggest problem has been the lack of the soon-2-be ex making money. It's really strained me mentally over the years...trying to raise a family on basically one paycheck.
If I met a chick, who was a 4-5, making 200K, hell yes I'd check it out.
200K a year buys a lot of botox, boob lifts and make up.

They're all pretty nice with good personalities, but they are lawyers... FAIL. Oxymoron and NOT possible.

Not everyones definition of 4,5,6 are the same, and some guys would be happy to meet anyone, let alone a lawyer that pulls down 200k. If you enjoy her company, her personality and don't get wrapped around the looks, i thinks its a deal. Real problem is that her personality or lack thereof which comes from being a lawyer, probably drives most men away. Who wants a woman that is a professional arguer?
Course it helps to be drunk and in a dark part of the room as well.
