I was reading a blog today that listed the worst pro athlete jerseys one could own. They ranged from pitiful performances (a Ryan Leaf Chargers jersey), short-lived stints (a Mike Piazza Marlins jersey), unmatched hype (a Harold Miner jersey) to truly bad people (a Rae Carruth Carolina Panther jersey). Which leads to this question. What is the worst Iowa jersey one could own?
A #3 Pierre Pierce BB jersey? A #1 Willie Guy FB jersey? A #31 Ronnie Harmon jersey? A #6 Jake Christensen jersey? Or, something else?

Randy Reiners. The pain is unbearable.
Sondergorney brings up some bad memories, too.

I'd say PP's #3 would be the worst for sure, but's that's for (obviously) off-the-court/field stuff only. So some other bad jerseys would be:
#5(?) Alex Thompson #16 Chuck Long (Lions jersey) #(?) Jon Beutjer (either/both sports) #91 Bret Bielema (this would only be good to wear to Badgers games) #19 Benny Sapp Whatever jersey that kid who stole KF's playbook wore

A Chester Frazier jersey is markedly worse than any Iowa jersey you can name. Lock.

Having lived through it I would have to say Ronnie Harmon thanks to the 86' Rose Bowl. If you are talking about a 1 game situation that is the answer.
Fast forward a few years and the answer is Jon Beutjer. A week or 2 after he was gone the IA football tickets featured him with the phrase 'The Future is Beutjer'. That was just plain weird. I don't think his jersey's were a big seller but I'm not GDR so my opinion is meaningless.

Jacob Jaacks, Pierre Pierce, Brad "E Bay Thief" Lohaus or Jake "THE MESSIAH" Christensen.

FWIW, I still have my #89 (or #86??) Tim Dwight Falcons jersey hanging in my closet.

SoCal TD was #83 if that matters any. I have a beanie type baby sitting on top of my moniter decked out in the red and black proudly displaying Dwight and #83. He had a great runback in that game. Of course I cling to these memories of the former Hawks. I would love to cling to some current Hawks as well but most of them aren't cooperating yet. Honestly though having been there I would say it has to be Ronnie Harmon. That was brutal. I can't even imagine the instant backlash if we had the internets at that time. Thank God for the bars, state liquor stores, and the lower drinking age back then. I'm not sure how you kids survive anymore.

When I was in high school, I owned a Chris Kingsbury jersey. That was his sophomore year. He was my favorite player until he turned into a jackass.
