Good riddence. I was sick and tired of all the poor decisions and out of control stuff he did as a Junior. Most leaders would have that kind of crap out of their game by then.

I'm not too upset by this. The quicker we get rid of Alfraud's left-overs the better!

Well, the last of Alford's "stars" are gone, only one year after he left. Freeman, Sondergourney, Koch, David Palmer (he won't make it through the offseason if he hasn't left already). The shit that that assclown left us with should be the basis of a lawsuit calling for rescission of his last 3 years' salary at Iowa - he did absofuckinglutely nothing.
I'm still surpised North Mexico paid him that much.

I like Tony Freeman and am sad to see him go. I thought Freeman had the potential to be an Andre Woolridge type of player. He did have a pretty smooth stroke from the outside. If he could have bulked up in the upper body, it would have helped penetrate and go up against the big guys inside.
I understand the decision though as Lickliter's system wasn't for him. Lick is doing the right thing having him move on and hopefully finding someone who fits his system.
Best of luck to Tony.

Cy = meh. Cole = future stud, so I guess Spank and his Alfpologist allies get the last laugh. Alford was a god. If we would have landed Shaq Hamga and LeBron Gary, we'd have been in the Final Four.

The last player I was really upset about was joey range, yes... I was one of those dr. tom supporters. 10 NCAA's in 13 years was ok for me, I wanted more sweet sixteens but realized life's a bitch.

If we would have landed Shaq Hamga and LeBron Gary, we'd have been in the Final Four. that would've made up for the Recker/Evans debacle. Oh wait, it wouldn't have.
