Sounds like the same people wrote the Iowa law. Public schools held to government accountability and private schools are not. Private schools can cherry pick which students they want. And we get to pay for it. And the governor gets to hire an out of state entity to run the voucher program. That should work as well as the managed care companies running the Medicaid program (not well).

The plan has always been to destroy public schools and force taxpayers to wholly subsidize little MAGAT factories.
It's blatantly obvious. They rely upon public ignorance to hide the ball.

Whose plan? We're over 40 years into the experiment of the feds dictating a bunch of shit to schools through the Department of Education and the DOE has done about as a great of a job with the schools as the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Commission has done at fostering advances in carbon free nuclear power (virtually no new projects once the NERC took over). You live in a very good locale for public schools. Most people don't. Iowa has many parts of the state where scale is a big problem in trying to set up private schools and those people should probably just grin and bear it or homeschool, but I sure as fuck wouldn't want to send my kid to public school in Chicago or Charlotte. Hammering someone with a gigantic property tax bill, the majority of which is to fund schooling, for a school that sucks ass is total fucking bullshit.

Irregardless of the massive property tax bills, the states have been woefully under funding schools for specifically the reason of making the schools look bad to promote justifying privatization. Your argument is total fucking bullshit and you know it. And not that many years ago Iowa was near the top in education. Republicans have worked very hard to drop us to middle of the pack. But you're fairly wealthy your kid will be OK, but fuck the rest, right?

It’s still kinda up in the air as to whether he’s a low grade sociopath or another willfully brainwashed shit head.

You can't ride the slave labor gravy train without buying a ticket. At some point ya gotta pony up and pay the price of 200 years of public policy engineered to create a permanent underclass and caste system based solely on the color of skin. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
