The perfect easing into a sour is the Clutch Lips of Faith. Very faint sour taste, mostly dark. But more importantly, a great band. True story. This poast is excellent and full of truthiness.

Probably pretty stressful for you, trying to juggle an $11 beer and an $800 ipad on a moving train full of stinking commoners.

Ciders. Discuss...........
Who likes them? Who has had a lot of them? I've had like one or two. IDK why I brought this up. Maybe it's because I had some Hornsby's the other day???

I had one that I liked a lot, at an Irish restaurant near hotlanta. It reminded me of a sour ale, quite a bit in fact. I can't recall the name, unfortunately (it was back in December). I've never tasted Woodchuck or Hornsby's.

Ciders? I mean, they are alright. I've only had 3 or 4 though. My first (and only) foray into brewing was a cider. It was super easy to do. Essentially I just added some yeast to a gallon of cider that I had modified the lid on to fit a bubbler. I placed it in the closet for about a month and then filled some bottles with the boozy liquid and added a little bit of sugar at bottling for carbonation. I didn't test for ABV but that stuff was pretty strong judging by the buzz it created, it was pretty tasty too.

I've said it before, but the woodchuck private reserve is one I really like. I am not a huge cider fan, and would never order them, but that one is tasty. Aged in bourbon barrels and cuts down on the tartness big time.

This was their "Barrel Select" one and the case made it pretty clear it was the Bourbon Barrel brand.

It was at The Manchester Arms restaurant in College Park GA, but I just checked their (shitty) website and they don't have a list of what's on tap.

I can't believe that someone didn't like La Folie straight away. It was the first sour I ever tasted and I was immediately hooked on sours. I had one of these for the first time while watching the game on Friday. It was different. I haven't decided if I like it. I liked the aftertaste (very tart) better than the initial taste. I liked it better than a Surly Furious that I had a few weeks ago. If someone else buys it for me, I'd drink it. That beer cost 14.99!

I purchased it at John's in IC but I have no idea on it's national distribution. FYI John's will ship beer to you depending on state laws.
