The feckless, gutless, wimpy Dems totally deserved this.
But they won't learn from it.
It's in their nature.

Guess I am glad that I don't live in Iowa. Do we really need another thread about which state is the best? We haven't had one lately...

Thor, I'm actually going to agree wif you here and add that I expect the Republicans to totally piss down their leg any advantage they gain tonight. Look for moar grid-lock, moar divided (and divisive) gubmint. Don't think it will take much for the pendulum to swing the other way over the next two years, pretty quickly and starting tomorrow. These parties are both rancid shit. And in case none of you have noticed, we are living in a full fledged plutocracy. This country did great things once. Now it just attacks itself like a pack of rabid dogs.

You should really read true free market historians' perspectives on various segments of American history. There was a limited policy of populism around the turn of the 20th century when we saw the Sherman Act implemented, but even leftist movements, like the New Deal, have been far more about the advancement of industrialists than the people.

No moar sorry than I feel for you, CF, Thor, VintageHawkeye, Duffhead and all the other Obama apologists here and elsewhere. You fail to grasp that a majority of this country dislikes this president, not because of his race but rather his policies, lack of leadership domestically and in the world and his general incompetence in managing affairs here and abroad. Most divisive president in recent history and will go down in the anals of teh American presidency as one of the worst. Jimmy Carter has to be beaming from ear to ear tonight. This is why I feel sorry for you. We can only try to help you so much. You want to call me teh ghey yet you make it obvious you enjoy fox cock deep in your ass.

History will look kindly upon him. It's fractured now because your racist shitbag party is fueled by billions of dollars and unlimited media domination. Objective facts are objective facts. They don't matter to partisans , but they matter to historians. BTW if Obama was a GOPig with his stats and accomplishments, you fucks would prolly demand that we kneel and pray to him everyday. Tell me ONE disastrous policy. ONE. And don't say ISIS. Cheney begat that shit. I'm not even a registered D, sparky. And I wouldn't get too high if I were you. This is the kind of shit that culls bad leadership and hones focus. It's a cycle. Or a flat circle, if you prefer. I know it's hard for you to comprehend someone as coldly rational as me, but when you got an IQ north of 140 and you're surrounded by relative morons (not here, which is why I like this place ) you really can't live any other way. Apparently you expect me to feel crushed or some such shit. Sorry bro. I feel nothing.

Why do I get the feeling we in Iowa just elected the next Sarah Palin? Maybe she will will surprise and be a good senator and for now I will give her the benefit if the doubt and support her.
I fear, tho, the rest of the country will soon be laughing at us and the rubes of rural Iowa will be too stupid to see it. The way Iowa seems to work she is now a senator for life.

Unemployment under 6%, Wall Street at record highs, GM is alive, Osama is dead, the boots are off the ground in Iraq, everyone has access to health insurance, deficit reduced by about 50%. All this was accomplished with half the government refusing to govern. What building do we knock down to make room for the monument?

My guess is that she will lock arms with Steve King and the derp will flow wildly in the state of Iowa with 2 crazy ass politicians doing things against the betterment of the citizens that elected them. Seriously Iowa... What the Fuck. Same goes for Kansas. What the fuck. Can't wait to see brownback completely ruin the state and get tossed out once the bills can't be paid. And Wisconsin, how the hell do you elect Brown again? I guess it helps when the D's put up crap opponents.

First the recall election failure took a lot of energy from a lot of voters. It's hard to motivate peeps to vote against a Walker after he had won two elections in three years. Second Burke was an awful awful candidate. She ended up on the ticket because she had a family name her checkbook balance was such that she wouldn't be outspent. The problem was in front of a camera she looked like a cross between frankenstiens bride and a bull dyke from the all female motorcycle club called The Lane Splitters.

Walker/ Brown.. Either way it's a huge shit sandwich for wisconsonites to eat. And they gobbled the fuck out of that shit sandwich, just as those here in kansas did by keeping with the derp. Seriously, flyover country will turn into a wasteland if these fucks keep pushing their anti-middleclass agendas.

Politics are just like sports, the people covering them are all about making grand statements which are proven over and over again not to be true but the derp american public eats it up and doesn't do anything about it. I hope (and I am not holding my breath) that the republicans actually decide to put some bills together and get them to Obama's desk and are open for actually negotiating and making compromises to get shit done like they did with Clinton in his last two years. If they start talking about repealing Obamacare and trying to trash everything, well then they will get what they deserve in two years and lose a ton of seats and the POTUS will be Hillary. Let's face it last night was nothing new it happens often to both parties no matter who is in power. It just so happens that the GOP was the big winner last night and in 2016 it very well could be the Dems.
