As many as it takes to prevent tar sands bitumen from being pumped into the Ogallala aquifer at 1400 psi. All that water will have been pumped out of the ground in an effort by Nebby center pivot farmers to make a living growing crops in a desert long before the first oil spill from the keystone pipeline, so what's the problem? I won't disagree that attempting to farm any of that semi-arid shit past Lincoln is a colossal waste of resources. If ur field is a circle ur doin it wrong. Still...pipe that shit through your own country, Canucks.

Biggest bunch of bullshit since taxbreaks for insurance corps keep premiums low for you and me. Ever seen a premium go down after election day?

“The president’s veto of the Keystone jobs bill is a national embarrassment," said Republican House Speaker John Boehner. "The president is just too close to environmental extremists to stand up for America’s workers. He’s too invested in left-fringe politics to do what presidents are called on to do, and that’s put the national interest first." So much win.

Don't the Conservatards realize that the pipeline jerbs will be UNION-dominated? The fucking Unions will garrison every state it goes through and, once it's built, bye bye jobs, because the pipeline is built.

Seriously, you are putting big oil's interests first by forcing the issue because fuck the rest, we'll get paid. And the GOP is far too close to the Cocks (Kochs) in the oil industry to stand up for America and it's people. And if land owners choose not to sell their land to the pipeline, well fuck em, we'll just take it with eminent domain laws favored to fuck over the people and favor big business. They tend to leave shit like that out when waxing their dongs about how black Obama is.

Don't worry, they'll be hiring Mexicans from curb outside of Lowes. Way better workers than those liberal jack offs. I hired some mustached hipster guy in a tight Stroh's t-shirt and overalls to dig some fence posts. He said he'd do it cheap for the life experience, which I guess will allow him to better connect to the plains indians with whom feels a spiritual connection. I had to fire him after three hours, when he'd barely done any work because he was posting his progress with Instagram on his iPhone. He laughed at me, because he said I displayed an ironic reappropriation of Gilded age capitalist tropes.

So, another massive crude oil train derailment is burning, and dumping crude into the Mississippi just south of Galena Illinois.
Thanks Obama.

Good night sweet Pipeline...
There were elections in Alberta last night, where the leftist party went from 4 seats to 55 seats in the provincial elections, ending the center-right government that ruled for 40+ years. The party that now has 60% of the parliamentary seats in the largest oil producing territory in North America is committed to refining the oil in Alberta, rather than exporting it to Texas or BC. They've also pledged to raise corporate taxes, which will probably discourage additional drilling in an area where low oil prices have already caused a drop in production.
