No, not in all-time ugly hox, but in all time great Hox. I see quite a few of the manic-depressive crowd is ready to anoint him one of the all time greats after a couple of good game. Myself, I'm not quote sure. He will leave Iowa as the 2nd leading all-time scorer, and possibly 3rd or 4th all time in rebounds. However, he's never even played an NCAA game, he's never made 1st team all BoneG (and unless he plays at the pace he has the last two games, he won't), and he was arguably never the best player on his team's roster at a given time.
Still, time will tell...

Iowa was so bad when he got here that he was able to play as a frosh. He got lucky. Can't shoot, can't dribble. Meh.

He is Greg Brunner on worse teams and fewer moves.

He's leading the team in both points and rebounds, it's pretty hard to argue he hasn't been the best player on the team this season. At some point you are who your stats say you are. Sure you can have a season where an average player can put up big numbers on a bad team (fullers last year here, Basabe as a frost, etc) but he's put up very good numbers four straight years for four teams that made the post season including two NCAA tournament teams. I'd struggle to come up with more than a couple of power forwards in Iowa's history Id rather have on my team.
It's funny the mouth breathers will crack on him for his lack of perimeter game but he's really not a bad shooter given his position. The jump shot clearly isn't his strength but when you look at power forwards over Iowas history and rank them based on their jumper there are a lot more names below him than above.
Ironically his best attribute as a player is what retards like to crack on him for. The majority of his production comes from the line, in transition, and from his athleticism and rebounding. The retard sees this and goes HE SUCKS HE GETS GARBAGE POINTS AND DESNT SHOOT FROM THE OUTSIDE HE IS SO OOOOOOVERSTED DEEEEEERRRRRRPPPPP! The reality is that is a great thing. First it means he knows what he is good at and plays to his strengths and within himself. Second it's outstanding from a team standpoint.
So many guys need the offense to run through them to be productive. Marble was our best scorer last year but he was also a black hole at times. Aaron gets everything he gets through the offense. He doesn't need ISO post ups, one four sets, or pick and roll plays to be productive. You could plug him into virtually offense and he'd figure out a way to be productive. I mean he's gonna end up as the teams second leading scorer and he's the only plays he's ever had drawn up for him have been inbound lob plays and backside lob plays against a zone defense. That's pretty amazing.
When it's all said and done I think it's pretty obvious he's one of the best at his position in school history.

I also think he's gonna be first ten big ten this year barring a total team or personal collapse between now and the end of the BTT. The conference really rewards seniors and winning on their all conference teams. Kaminski is obviously a lock for one of the bigs but it's hard to find anyone more deserving than Aaron behind that. The only other forward that scores more is Petteway and Nebraska is dog shit this year, and he's third in the conference in rebounds.

He's definitely Mr. Garbage....gets a ton of his opportunities by grifting around the basket.
Probably not in the top ten if you're just looking at raw BB skills...however....
Not bad, not good, just what his game is. I say more power to him for figuring out what makes him valuable.

Yes he gets his fair share of hustle buckets but thats not all his game is. Reggie Evans was a true Mr Garbage. No real jumper, no face up game, average at best on the block. Virtually all his production was from the offensive glass.

Any of you saying Whitey isn't in the top ten all time Hawks are either poorly trolling or just plain stupid. Second in scoring, 3rd in rebounding, I have not looked up steals, but I seem to recall him being top ten at least. What more do you want out of a player?

White is a solid player that has an occasional up and down. His numbers are impressive, but it doesn't seem that his actions dictate in the games, which is unusual. I like him as a player and love that he gets the garbage plays a lot. Sign of a hard working player.

Umm. Settles pump faked a minimum of 2 times per shot. Combine that with playin the better part of a decade and you have like a million pump fakes.

Look at how many points he scores from the line (% leads the nation) He really has no offensive game....he goes around screens for his open shots. He's not our go-to guy for scoring, not really. What exactly is his low post game you're talking about? What he does do well, very well, is scavenger around the basket. Again, this is not saying he's not an all-time great. He's just accomplished 'it' through a different mechanism than most.

He's fucking great at what he's good at.
And he can jump like a ghetto nig even tho he's a soulless ginger.
That alone is worth top ten status.
